It’s actually pretty blatant how impossible and illogical the theory is when you just look at the dates between events and correspond them with visual references. So while, in theory (no pun intended) it’s a fun idea, it doesn’t add up whatsoever. If Korkie was Obi-Wan and Satine’s son he would be 20 years old in his first appearance, which he very clearly is not.

The year of Korkie’s birth, 42 BBY, is two decades before 22 BBY. In 22 BBY, Ahsoka herself is 14 years old, making Korkie, presumably, 14 or 13. In the episode, Korkie is quite obviously either one year younger than Ahsoka Tano or the same age. In a desperate attempt to shield his people from further harm, he ventures to the desert planet Tatooine, not knowing who else has been hiding there. Furthermore, with Obi-Wan Kenobi emerging back into the galaxy, the target on his back only grew. Why is this important? Because Korkie’s first appearance is S6 E3 “The Academy.” In universe, this episode takes place in 22 BBY. The Revelation of his true parentage has rocked Korkie to the core. The aforementioned civil war takes places, canonically, in 42 BBY, and the main theory suggests that Obi-Wan and Satine conceived Korkie sometime during their year on the run. Death Watch/Kyr’tsad, Conservative Clans/Aka’liit) takes place during the Mandalorian Civil War.

Obi-Wan’s year-long mission to Mandalore in which he protects Duchess Satine Kryze from various bounty hunters and “Martial Traditionalists” (i.e. As it turns out though, we have the numbers needed to prove this theory incorrect. Truthfully that same theory is one of my favorites and I’ve seen many great arguments both for and against the validity of it.īut one thing I haven’t seen too much of is arguments that are backed by numbers, which are concrete and logical. Before I get into the facts, I’d like to preface this entire post by making it clear that this is in no way meant to shit on people who believe and/or theorize that Korkie is Obi-Wan’s son.
